Position: North Platte Community College is accepting applications for a full-time carpenter maintenance technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing daily building maintenance and carpentry installations. The ideal applicant will be experienced in commercial door installations, trim carpentry, framing, and cabinetry and will be well-rounded in general construction practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in building construction with five years documented work experience in a carpentry/construction related field, or nine years documented work experience. Plus, basic computer skills, good communications skills and valid driver’s license required. Strong working knowledge & experience in construction, both new and remodeling, with emphasis in commercial construction trade work. Other related maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC preferred but not required. Candidate should be able and willing to learn additional technical skills including expanding their computer skills.
