vWe have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician position. The headquarters is in North Haven,Ct looking to find the best candidate right away.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains heavy motors and production equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning throughout the facility including floor cleaning, window and wall washing, dusting, etc.
• Support general equipment maintenance activities including but not limited to, machine clean out, and coolant changes.
• Dismantles equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Support facilities maintenance projects involving outside contractors for carpentry/painting, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Performs troubleshooting on electrical issues.
• Provides excellent customer service.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• (2) years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Ability to use hand/power tools, using a ladder and ability to work at heights over 20 feet also required.
• Tow motor and fork truck certification required.
• Basic knowledge of Manufacturing process/procedures, understanding of machinery, electrical, pneumatics, and other areas within facility maintenance.
• High School Diploma Required
• Knowledge of Lean tools such as Standard Work, SMED and 6S.
