Position: Maintenance Technician
Shift:6:00AM-2:00PM
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 BOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will include the following but is not limited to:

• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule on all listed jobs.
• Maintenance and repair of hydraulic equipment.
• Perform basic multi-meter function, (i.e.) circuit testing, series, parallel testing, and resistance reading.
• Relay logic, plc control experience needed.
• HVAC, plumbing, welding knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety lock out tag out procedures
• Knowledge of OBM (Operator Based Maintenance) for each machine.
• Working knowledge of interpreting work orders.
• Reading blueprints (electrical/hydraulic).
• Entering PM and service data into computer as necessary.
• Completion of production reports and PMS sheets.
• Forklift and crane operations.
• Other duties as assigned by the plant manager.
• Record all necessary data pertaining to assigned job instructions.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager.
• Arriving at work on time for every scheduled shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Flexible schedule , overtime when needed.

**Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE: The employee will be expected to perform at a production paced level to meet customer (internal and external) demands. This also requires quick thinking and the ability to develop and modify existing programs to support changing production needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The associate frequently is required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to support production needs.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision (with or without corrective lenses), and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Production paced operations to support customer (internal and external) demands. Decision making ability to support production as needed.
