Job description

Express is looking for a Maintenance Assistant for a local company. Along with the Maintenance Manger, you will be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the building and equipment. This position operates within FDA,FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative requirements defining food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant.

Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm (Must be flexible)

Pay: Starting at $18

Requirements:

• Highschool Diploma
• 2 years of building maintenance experience
• Willing to work inside and outside of the building
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs as needed

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Daily plant inspections of operating systems
• Preventative maintenance
• Minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• Replace lightbulbs and filters
• Scraping and painting of walls, woodwork and fixtures
• Snow removal and salting sidewalks
• Assisting other departments as needed
