Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma GED or equivalent
Valid PA Driver’s License with 3 year clean driving record
Two years experience related to general home/building maintenance and repair, as well as functional knowledge of automotive equipment sufficient to detect defective operation.
Must possess knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in building and equipment maintenance trades.
Must be knowledgeable of the safety practices and hazards relative to this position
Ability to pass background checks, physical, TB and drug screening (ALL company paid!)
Summary:
This is a semi-skilled position that reports directly to the Maintenance Manager performing routine maintenance and repairs to residential homes, commercial sites, and vehicles. Duties include responsibility for the routine maintenance and repair of building and equipment, such as the opening of blocked drains, repairing leaking faucets, replacing bulbs and switches, replacing or repairing screens, broken windows and sash weights, making minor repairs and adjustments to machinery, mixing cement and plaster, painting buildings, rooms’ walls and / or other surfaces. Minor vehicle repairs such as replacing air filters, bulbs, wiper blades and mirrors, checking and adding fluids. This position also requires the charge of decision making when working in the field with any laborer and providing input on performance. Basic knowledge of Physical Site and Fire Safety regulations.
