Job Duties:

• Work from complicated component drawings, routers, and or verbal instructions to produce parts that meet standards and specifications.
• Measure and inspect parts to verify that they are acceptable.
• Must possess practical metal cutting knowledge to make sound decisions in fabricating parts.
• Operate machines to perform machining in accordance with drawings, sketches and oral instructions using basic shop math.
• Set up and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain assigned equipment and complies with preventative maintenance activities.
• Plans and lays-out work from design drawings, sketches, and oral instructions.
• Use basic shop math and trigonometry for figuring various angles, lengths, and other dimensional aspects.
• Sets up and adjusts any machine for a variety of short run or production runs to machine any type of component.

• Pay: $25-35/HR (DOE; plus 10% premium for working 2nd shift)
• Shift: Swing
• Hours: 3:15pm-1:45am
