Primary Responsibilities:

· Managing a patient’s healthcare plan according to the Physician’s instructions

· Bathing and grooming the patient daily

· Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs

· Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication

· Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient

· Educating and advising Caregivers in the household

· Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing

· Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household

· Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable

Knowledge and Experience:

· Understanding of the principles of nursing

· Compassion and empathy skills

· Ability to think critically and solve problems

· Excellent attention to detail

· Time management skills

· Organization skills

· CPR certificate & LPN license (Required)

· Trach/Vent experience (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
