JOB TITLE: LPN/ RN
Provides prescribed medical treatment for students/residents by performing the following duties and furthermore ensure compliance with governmental requirements, organizational systems, licensing regulations, policies and procedures, CARF standards, HIPPA policies, and operating requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
____ 3. Observes students/residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge.
____ 4. Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intermuscular injection, and notes time and amount on patients' charts.
____ 5. Collects samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, from students/residents for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples.
____ 6. Transcribes physicians' orders from charts. Transcribes medication administration records.
____ 7. Orders medications from pharmacists and medical supplies from approved vendors.
