Requirements:
- LPN: current license with Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. CPR Certification.
OR
- CCMA: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and National Healthcare Association (NHA) Certification. CPR certification.
Description:
- Weekend Clinic in Carmi.
- Saturdays 9am-3pm.
- Clinical nursing duties including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, taking medical history and patient’s chief complaint, documenting in medical record, assessing condition for triage, and assisting the physician in examination and treatment of the patient, providing discharge instructions.
- Administers screening tests (vision, EKG’s etc.), approved medications and vaccines as directed by the physician, phlebotomy duties (drawing blood, collecting urine samples etc.).
- Communicates necessary information to patients, referral physicians, and others.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.75 - $19.25 per hour
