Mosholu Parkway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 122 bed skilled nursing facility in the Bronx, NY, is seeking experienced LPN's for 8-4, 4-12 and 12am - 8am shifts. Weekend positions available as well. Full time and part time available. New grad who has previous CNA nursing home experience may apply. Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities on an assigned unit, in consultation with a supervisory Registered Nurse. Additionally, the individual in this position will have good knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in performing basic nursing services, familiarity with the Facility’s organization, functions, policies, procedures and regulations. Please call for hourly rate. $1,500 sign on bonus after 90 days.

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience Required:

• Must be graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must possess current New York State license/registration to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• One year experience in a hospital or nursing home preferred
• Must have knowledge of nursing process in long term care
• Must posses ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must possess good mental and physical health, sound judgment and high moral integrity; a sincere commitment to provide through the nursing staff the quality care to which each individual is entitled
• Must possess the capacity to provide an environment of learning and professional growth for self and staff
• Must demonstrate understanding, patience and tact in relating to patients, visitors, peers and other employees at the Facility
