Candidate: Looking for an experienced Consultant who has a deep understanding of Cerner Millennium. The Consultant should be able to work independently on engagements with multiple stakeholders and drive clients through the full implementation cycle across multi-facility implementations. The Consultant will interact with Operational and IT personnel in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems to meet user and organizational requirements.

The Consultant will use Cerner methodology to drive completion of project deliverables such as Current State Assessments, Future State Workflows, Design Decisions, Data Collection Workbooks, Data Build, Testing Workbooks, and Go-live Readiness. Consultant will own system and integration testing while leading the client through unit testing. During the testing period they will resolve testing issues and support the client through necessary testing to meet regulatory guidelines.

The Consultant will need to be able to answer questions and concerns from the client laboratory department representatives. They will need to support the client in decision making processes, workflow changes, communication updates, and the change management process. Throughout the implementation cycle they will manage weekly client meetings, lead workshops, provide training, identify necessary change requests and risks, provide weekly status reports, and lead the client through engagement milestones. During go-live they will support the client through go-live readiness/planning, cutover, and transition to support.

Required Qualifications

Healthcare Information Technology Consulting and/or Support 10+ years

Experience implementing Cerner Millennium Long Term Care including Plans of Care, Plans of Care Rules, Care Compass Views, Interdisciplinary Documentation, PowerOrders, Treatment Documentation, PDPM Diagnosis Search, , MDS Intelligence

Experience implementing Cerner Millennium Pharm Net including Medication Administration

Extensive experience in Cerner Millennium implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support
