D.M. Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team! This position will help manage the warehouse group and will spend most of the time coaching and leading the operations team to efficiently and safely achieve production and quality goals.

Essential Job Functions:

· Report to the Director of Logistics

· Have hands-on experience with Warehousing, Distribution, and Logistics SOPs

· Have previous experience supervising warehouse operations

· Have previous experience with facility maintenance, safety, and workplace cleanliness

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Have familiarity with RF Scanning, Inventory Management, and Pick & Pack Operations

· Perform assigned duties to meet/exceed company and customer expectations.

· Establish and institute all policies, procedures and goals.

· Maintain inventory accuracy within current customer base and have the knowledge to research and correct any inventory errors.

· Always keep work environment clean and safe.

· Perform work assignments utilizing generally accepted safe work practices and comply with established safety procedures.

· Be able to meet established productivity and quality standards.

· Perform stow audit inventories as instructed

· Identify cost reductions and/or customer service suggestions/improvements.

· Have an in-depth working knowledge of all customers’ accounts

Requirements:

· Required: High school diploma or GED.

· Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

· Required: 3-5 years of experience supervising employees in a logistics or manufacturing environment.

· Required: Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.

· A strong candidate would possess strong leadership skills, ability to engage with the workforce to create a positive environment and culture, ability to multi-task, and be a great problem solver.
