Job Role:

As an integral part to the successful functioning of the business and the Tatua USA team, the Logistics & Inventory Management Specialist will manage Tatua USA’s logistics and inventory management functions, including import/export related activities, order processing (inbound & outbound), demand-based shipment forecasting, warehousing, and sample library management. This role also provides business operations support including office support tasks.

KEY RESULT AREAS :-

Product Import and Warehousing

· Based on demand, generate POs (in ERP) for inbound product (direct ship to customers and replenishment stock to 3PLs)

· Review daily report of vessel bookings for inbound material and update internal records / stakeholders as appropriate

· Support customs broker in managing product import related activities and documentation from pre-clearance through receipt into 3PL warehouses

· Review 3PL product receiver documentation to ensure accuracy; identify & resolve discrepancies; coordinate with Finance Manager to receive material in to ERP system

· Review product import, transit and warehousing vendor invoices for accuracy.

· Manage and maintain active 3PL warehouse relationships and activities in US and EU

· Assist in identifying areas of improvement and cost reduction throughout import and warehousing functions

Outbound Order Management /Processing

· Coordinate with “Supply Chain & Sales Support Role” to accurately process customer orders in a timely manner using Tatua’s ERP system (customer PO entry through invoicing)

· Submit orders and manage all interactions with Tatua’s 3PL groups and systems to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of outbound orders

· Work with customs broker / forwarder to export material, as needed (1x/year)

· Review month-end reports to identify differences in expected vs. actual outbound shipments /sales

· Review outbound order transit invoices for accuracy.

· Coordinate with ERP team at parent company as needed to refine processes, investigate oddities, etc.

Inventory Management

· In conjunction with President and sales team, review, update and submit regular shipment forecasts to business units (demand planning)

· Maintain accurate inventory records (both within and outside ERP) to ensure stock on hand is managed and tracked effectively

· Ensure damage reporting protocols are followed in a low-damage incidence environment

· Generate “Available to Promise” reports for key products as needed / upon request

· Review monthly handling / storage, accessorial services & reoccurring storage invoice from warehouses for accuracy

· Manage inventory reconciliation in conjunction with Finance Manager (4x/year + as needed to reconcile any discrepancies)

Sample Library Management

· Proactively manage sample inventory including:

.Preparing / sending sample shipments to customers

.Tracking transit / updating appropriate team member(s)

. Maintaining accurate sample inventory

. Reviewing sample stocks with sales team & requisitioning replenishment samples
to ensure adequate stocks are available when needed

Office Support

· Manage external vendors and invoice payments in conjunction with Finance Manager

· Manage office administration tasks like inbound / outbound mail, office supply replenishment orders, electronic / hard copy filing, etc.

· Assist with travel / expense management for sales staff

Skills Required:

· Exceptional relationship skills and ability to build and maintain productive relationships

· Rapid absorption of information

· Strong ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

· Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

· Exceptional prioritization and time management

· Experience working with an ERP required – JDE preferred

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Work and Excel

· A Self Starter and independent thinker

Education / Qualifications

· Associates or BS preferred

Experience

· 4+ years in B2B supply chain management, with international experience in specialty/functional ingredients or chemicals preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
