We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Loader to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Fort Pierce, FL! Loaders are responsible for ensuring products are loaded safely and accurately. The loader will have an RF scanner which is used to manage inventory arriving and leaving.

Your responsibility will be to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. You will be required to work in all climate conditions, be capable of lifting 30 pounds repeatedly, and are prepared to meet any challenge.

Principal Responsibilities

• Be able to operate forklift equipment effectively and safely, complete smaller equipment maintenance tasks, and report any malfunctions.
• Receiving and locating product while operating within approved RF processes.
• Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight.
• Completing work in a prescribed sequence to ensure deliver-by-date is met.
• Working effectively to meet productivity, quality and safety targets.
• Loading/unloading trucks as the need arises.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
• Reporting unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis.
• Completing Cycle Counts.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Forklift operation and Safety practices considered an asset
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Experience working with RF scanners and technology considered an asset
• Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred.
• Must have a positive disposition and work well with others.
• Participating in stock replenishment when needed.
• Experience operating various forklift equipment.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and to work in an environment where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Capability to be self-motivated and independent, but work will within a team.
• Good communication skills.
