Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 3rd Shift

Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday – Friday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.)

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that the production process is run in a smooth and rapid manner

Job Description

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts Removes parts from tank after specified time
• Rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education - High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) (Required)
• Experience - 1 plus years of experience in chemical processing.

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
