IRRIGATION & LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Irrigation/Lighting Technician is to service, repair, and install outdoor irrigation and lighting systems using best practices for our clients. The Technician will demonstrate proficiency with servicing, repairing, and installing common irrigation and lighting systems and will possess advanced knowledge, including the safe and proper use of the required trade tools and equipment, as well as proficiency navigating systems and designs.

EXPERIENCE
Qualified Lighting and Irrigation Technician candidates will have the following:

• A minimum of 2 years of irrigation and lighting experience (or similar vocational training).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience servicing all aspects of our clients' lighting & irrigation systems (e.g., start-ups/winterizations, repairs, mapping out irrigation areas, installing equipment, seasonal adjustments, etc.), including water features.
• Interpreting and following a lighting and irrigation design plan.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair residential landscape lighting and irrigation systems.
• Ability to work within a budget of time and materials.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology/software, Aspire software (or similar production software), Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel)
• Effective supervisory experience a plus

The position of Landscape Irrigation and Lighting Technician earns a salary range of $60K - $85K based on the applicant's experience and knowledge plus performance-based incentives and full benefits (i.e., health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, continuing professional education, etc.).
