Greenway Dental is looking for a Lead/Licensed Dental Assistant that is great at multi tasking and can manage the clinic floor on a daily basis. Clinic hours 7am-3pm Monday - Thursday. Fridays off! Come work at an office where we always run on time and have a very predictable daily work flow.

$33-$35/hour plus benefits (based on experience)

$2500 SIGN ON BONUS

Responsibilities

• Great customer service skills necessary - welcome patients to the dental office and offer amenities.
• Prepare patients for treatment and help them stay calm and comfortable during appts.
• Take x-rays as ordered by the dentist. Competent with full mouth series of images.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Take impressions and make temporary crowns.
• Undertake lab tasks including making essix retainers, bleaching trays and pouring up study models.
• Complete and manage weekly dental supply orders for the dentist and hygiene team.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental operatories clean, organized and well-stocked.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete chart notes after procedures.
• Update and maintain radiation safety, OSHA, and other office manuals.
• Help where needed - front desk, cleaning, etc. We are a small office and all pitch in as a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
