Job description
The Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor position of Counseling & Psychology in the College of Education at Troy University’s main campus is a tenure-track, ten-month faculty appointment. The rank is open and will be dependent upon experience and training. The primary responsibilities include teaching specialized graduate courses in school counseling and other counseling specialties; pursuing a scholarship and research agenda; serving on committees at all levels; involvement in service to the community; advising graduate students; and supervising Practicum and Internship students.

1. An earned doctorate degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program
2. Training as a school counselor and a primary identification with the profession of school counseling
3. Certified as a school counselor
