Carpenter for local construction company!

We do a lot of work in the Southern New Jersey shore towns including, Brigantine, Margate, Ocean City, and Longport.

We are currently looking to fill positions Carpenters that are willing to learn while they earn, and be hungry, willing and eager to jump in and get their hands dirty.

A typical day can range from doing trim work in a renovation property to setting a kitchen in a new construction home, building custom built-ins or throwing up a few pieces of drywall.

Some days are easier than others, and some days are harder than others.

What do we expect from you?

-Be eager to work

-Be ready to learn

-Have the ability to read a tape measure, with fractions also.

-Have the ability to use hand tools

-Have the ability to use power tools.

-Come to work every morning looking clean and neat

-Come to work every day on time. (Your shift is from 8am-4:30 pm)

-Basic Hand tools or the willingness to purchase those things.

-Get to work every day, reliably. Really it would just be nice for you to have a car or truck of your own and a license.

Pay will depend on knowledge. We will pay for experience.

Pay will increase as knowledge increases. If we see you working hard, pay will increase. Your starting salary is not your ceiling.

There is plenty of room to move up. We want you to grow with us!

After 6 months of employment you become eligible for 5 paid holidays, and after one year you will be eligible for paid vacation. We offer overtime opportunities and 401K plans.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. There are also opportunities for overtime.
