The community you’ll be caring for:

  • Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
  • serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America
  • AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country
  • We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year


The role you’ll contribute:

Manages the daily operations of a laundry services department. Inspects the clothes and quality of cleanliness

  • Assigns and reviews the work of laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments or patients
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks
  • Leads and directs the work of others
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • 1 years Leadership Experience
  • Manages Laundry Services staff
  • Ability to manage the day activities in supervising staff including training, hiring, terminations, orienting and evaluating performance
  • Knowledge about best environmental practices
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High School Grad or Equiv and 3+ years experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience
  • Five years of technical experience
