PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Laundry Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Separate sort items by type, remove any foreign object and wash them on the corresponding chemical formula in the washing machines based on item type.
Process clean items from the washing machines using the correct finishing equipment (i.e. dryer, steam tunnel, press units) to have an end product that meets departmental standards.
Maintain accurate records/logs all pertinent date in accordance with established guidelines/procedures.
Adhere to all Health Department, OSHA, sanitations, and safety regulations to include chemical usage for spotting.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Use the laundry equipment safely in a manner for which it was designed and report any faulty equipment.
Work under minimal supervision, completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion to meet quality standards.
