We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. The Manager will be responsible for assisting customers, educating team members about proper cleaning and laundry techniques, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsible for assisting customers with self-serve and drop-off laundry, maintenance, cleaning, managing employee schedule, and daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide excellent customer service at all times.
· Help self-serve customers when needed. Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment when possible.
· Ability to use POS (Point of Sale) system for processing credit card transactions.
· Process drop-off laundry orders in a timely and efficient manner following the employee handbook. This includes washing, drying, and folding laundry to be available back to the customer in the specified time period.
· Keep the facility clean and tidy. Complete store and equipment cleaning as assigned.
· Maintain efficient store operation by notifying management of machine malfunctions and of supplies needed.
· Fix machines that need minor repairs. Learning will be provided on the job.
· Promote a safe environment by being attentive to potential hazards, both personal and environmental, and reduce the risks however possible. Notify management of identified safety concerns.
· Maintain employee schedule, fill in or find fill in when employees are sick, and report hours worked by employees.
· Make decisions about daily operations.
· Manage turnover rate of employees.
· Serve as a liaison between owner and staff.
Qualifications
· Prior laundry experience, hotel, spa, rentals, Laundromats, etc…
· Functional reading and writing and basic computer and keyboard skills.
· Basic math skills and ability to handle cash register transactions.
· Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including one's own body.
· Communication over the phone and in person.
· Comply with all company policies and procedures.
· Prior management is a plus.
We are looking for a new team member that is very friendly and always looking for ways to improve our processes. This is a full time position, as well as potential weekend work. Example of a schedule: Mon – Friday 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. This is just an example and actual schedule will be determined upon hiring. Other potential schedule could be Mon, Wed, and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
