Description
If you are selected as the land technician, you will be assisting Land Skills Group in: scheduling, facilitating and implementing the University recruiting program, scholarship interviews and other career events, monitoring and assisting with staffing metrics, populating and administering the Land Training Matrix; documenting individual staff training progress for the Land Management Team, facilitating the logistics for, and assisting with the documentation of, the Process Improvement projects undertaken by the North America Land Group - with emphasis on logistical and technical support

Your responsibilities may include:
- Populating and administering the data in the Land Training Matrix
- Facilitate the logistics and coordination of the annual recruiting activities
- Process orientation and staffing documentation with L48 HR representatives
- Liaison between Land Skills Group and BU Land Groups
- Develop and maintain network relationships with core Universities, scholarship recipients, prospective interns and new hires
- Coordinate reports and documentation with our L48 HR representatives
- General services, as may be needed
- Must be organized, able to handle several projects at one time, and work well under deadlines
- Must be detail oriented, thorough and efficient
- Must be innovative and able to work independently
- Must be able to work in multi-team environment and be a good team player
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have intermediate or advanced WORD, PowerPoint and EXCEL experience
- Familiar with various COPC computer systems and programs, i.e. Quorum, Generwell, and Land Support Systems
Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
- 1+ years Exploration and Production operations experience
Preferred:
- 3+years of direct experience with various agreement types and systsms (i.e. Tobin, Business objects.)
- Professional Lease and/or Title Analyst Certification
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines, solves routine problems with no supervision.
- Able to solve difficult problems with minimal supervision, demonstrates creativity and innovation in approach.
- Business ethics and trust are paramount
- Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
- Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
- Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
