Purpose of the role

As Labor Technician, you will apply for the position in the Trainlab & TCMS laboratory as Laboratory Technician. You will be responsible for the lab environment in which the test integration can be performed timely, accurately and safely.

Your Key Accountabilities:

• Independent planning, projecting, construction of complete test systems
• Preparation of hardware documentation, process documents and test reports
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment and the laboratory network infrastructure
• Adherence of legal regulations and instructions, including occupational safety and accident prevention
• Commissioning and verification of complex test systems
• Install the software on the test systems
• Review of technical documentation
• Support of development & testing to identify root cause of errors
• Troubleshooting for the test systems
• Assisting testers and engineers in using tools and the test environment
• Installation and provision of test computers (IT activities)
• Development of circuits for test automation

Qualifications :

• Completed subject-specific vocational training of at least three years, for example as an electrician, mechatronic, technician
• Fundamentals of Network technic, electrical engineering and automation technology
• Basics in the construction of complex test systems
• German language is mandatory, English is a plus
• Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)
• 3 years of similar position

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role:

• Preferable TCMS or similar Train Control system knowledge
• Experiences in the field of test automation
• Experience in dealing with TCMS specific tools and the TCMS platform
