What does the job involve?

Label, ink stamp, overcoat and etch outlined information on detail components and assemblies using general shop tools and equipment.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Perform label, ink stamp and etch duties on components and assemblies.
• Use general shop and hand tools.
• Where special PPE required to do the job (respirators, safety glasses).
• Follow documented manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Produce quality parts and meet individual productivity goals.
• Clean and maintain work areas as part of 5s program.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Follow all Steico policies including attendance.
• Communicate well with leads and coworkers to achieve the department goals.
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

• General understanding of manufacturing processes and use of hand tools.
• Requires the ability communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner.
• Requires English verbal and written skills.
• Requires basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MSOffice.
• Requires ability to access facts and develop conclusions and know when to ask for guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
