You are a recent graduate and/or a young professional with up to two years experience? Join the risk management function at State Street, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, as a Junior Risk Manager.

We are looking for your support in our Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) Team in Munich.

What you will be responsible for

Depending on your skills and preferences, in the ICAAP team you will

• Get a broad understanding of risk management in general and capital adequacy in particular

• Coordinate monthly ICAAP reporting to senior management, including quality controls and data analysis, if necessary

• Contribute to the annual ICAAP submission through working on adverse/stress scenarios that explore the bank’s key vulnerabilities

• Maintain governance framework around ICAAP

• Help to ensure that the bank complies with the applicable regulatory requirements

• Support the ad-hoc reporting processes for capital adequacy, e.g. in case of requests from the European Central Bank, the Bank’s supervisory board or its senior management

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• You have a Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, business administration and/or computer science

• You are a recent graduate or a young professional with up to two years of experience, ideally in a risk management function

• You are proficient in written and spoken English and German

• Previous experience in risk modelling, stress testing and project management would be a plus
