We are an Independent Commercial Lines Insurance Brokerage with a primary customer focus in the construction industry. We are located in Westlake Village, CA and are seeking a full time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Retail Insurance Brokerage. Opportunity for growth within the Retail Insurance Brokerage or our (MGA) Wholesale, Insurance Carrier and/or Reinsurance companies we also own and operate.

License required. Training will be provided. Required to be a self-starter and knowledgeable in commercial insurance lines to run and help grow our book of business.

Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple moving deadlines. Strong skills in oral and written communication required. Organization skills and flexibility are required. Must be able to work well with others.

The primary focus will be to assist in handling current accounts, processing/re-marketing renewals, assisting customers with billing, certificates, endorsements, etc.

Position Duties:

• Billing questions
• Renewal quoting
• Issuing policies & certificates
• Assisting in handling client accounts and questions
• Updating client information
• Developing and completing forms
• Assisting in quoting Workers Compensation, General Liability & Property Insurance
• Comfortable in a paperless environment
• Obtaining loss runs
• Endorsement changes
• Document notes in the client files using the agency management system
• Maintain good client relationships

Job Requirements:

• Commercial Insurance CSR/Account Management experience
• Must be extremely knowledgeable with: Microsoft programs, G-Suite programs and PDF editors
• Experience with CRM's including Vertafore Programs.
• Ability to think outside the box and implement new systems/ideas
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be willing to pick up the phone and handle conversations with clients
• Happy, upbeat, energetic attitude
• Fast paced, fast learning curve
• Able to multi-task
• Organized
• Problem solver
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• Property & Casualty License Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
