HOW A JAVA DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
- Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs
- Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
- Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist team with preparation of cost estimates
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- Required Experience: 10+ Years of experience
- Required Technical Skills:
- Experience with Java, SQL, HTML/JavaScript CSS, LINUX(navigating, reading files, sudo commands)
- Experience as a Rational Application Developer and SQL Developer
- Knowledge of SQL Plus, PuTTY/ WinSCP, Websphere, Subversion
- Familiarity with control-M jobs/ POB system, basics of how AFT system works. Will use AFT to package and export data downstream to MIRS and CDAS.
- Knowledge of Microservices design and GCP or AWS Cloud Development.
- Experience with DevSecOps, securing coding practices, Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following qualifications: Agile Methodolgies, SDLC practices, Change Management and Configuration Management(VersionOne ServiceNow, etc.) Application Lifecycle Management(ALM) Kubernetes, Security, Performance Tuning
- Security Clearance Level: Public Trust; The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days
