Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and matured hard-working Janitor looking for an opportunity working Monday, Wednesday and Friday to start. You must be able to pass a background check, reliable transportation to and from work, displays a positive attitude, experience preferred, works well independently and with others, strong attention to details, great communication skills, listens and takes directions well, wants the opportunity to work more hours if needed. One who will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Maintenance skills are encouraged but not necessary, the right candidate could be compensated more based on knowledge and performance.

• Keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition

• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning and mopping of floors, using automatic floor scrubber, changing and emptying of trash, etc.

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Scrubs and disinfect toilets, urinals, drinking fountains, toilet doors, and other bathroom fixtures daily.
• Replace deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap.

• Keep a stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to do the work.
• Clean public locker rooms, showers, bathrooms and stock toilet paper, hand soap and paper towel.
• Clean private locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, garbage cans, recycle bins, stock paper towell, toilet paper and hand soap.
• Pick up trash around the building and sweep the entrance area.
• Sweep and mop players benches, score box and around the the outside of the dasher boards.
• Vacuum office area and empty garbage
• Vacuum entrance mats.
• Other various duties involved with the cleanliness and possible maintenance of the facility.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
