Position Highlights

The University of Arizona’s College of Applied Science and Technology is accepting applications for an IT Support Analyst position. This position will be an in-person position on the Sierra Vista Branch Campus. This position will provide support to end users for PC, applications, hardware, and network issues. This position will install, configure, and perform routine maintenance on classroom and conference room setup. Ensuring the installation is presentable and professional. This position will also assist with event technology setups. This position will support the security of college and campus systems, including servers, firewalls, and instruct end users on the importance of security awareness. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of security awareness, disk encryption, Audio Visual setup; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently; and is customer service oriented and is a great team player.

CAST is the only college at UArizona that offers the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degree. Duties & Responsibilities

Provides support to end users for PC, applications, hardware, and network issues.
Serve as an on-campus contact for support and end user issues to increase efficiencies in response.
Implements system modifications to reduce user problems based on indirectly related existing knowledge base and support history records.
Installs, configures, and performs routine maintenance on systems hardware and software.
Installs, configures, and performs routine maintenance on classroom and conference room setups. Ensuring the installation is presentable and professional.
Instruct end users on how to use classroom, conference room, and event technology setups.
Provides support for classroom technology, presentation technology, events, videoconferencing, digital streaming media, and commencement serving both local and remote faculty and staff.
Assist with technology (computer and AV equipment) inventory tracking
Support security of college and campus systems, including servers, firewalls, and instructing end users the importance of security awareness.
Conduct research of current and emerging technology and security trends to support the college’s vision

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with SharePoint software
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Previous experience with UA systems
