As an IT Project Consultant, you should have a superb knowledge of server operating systems, networking, and a drive to deliver the best possible experience to our clients. You’ll be executing projects on behalf of our clients that use Windows 10/11, MacOS, Windows Server 2019 / 2022, and diving into networking issues regularly. Working in Office 365, Active Directory, and AzureAD are also routine parts of your day. Throughout the day you’ll be translating technology to end users that aren’t always technical, so communication skills are paramount in this role.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• You’ll primarily be focused on implementing projects for new and existing customers. This will involve server administration, networking, and security side of things, where you’ll be tasked with issues like building out new Hyper-V hosts, troubleshooting and deploying firewalls, and troubleshooting and deploying networking switches and access points – among many other new technologies we’re rolling out on a regular basis.
• Some projects will involve onsite visits for networking and server deployments, and occasionally to provide guidance and mentorship to newer members of our team.
• You’ll work through our ticketing system to document, track, and escalate project tasks and tickets, and you’ll also work in our documentation platform to keep everything up to date along the way.
• You’ll be working with a team of intelligent people to deliver world class service to our clients, both remotely and onsite.

• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022
• Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus
• Knowledge of BCDR and/or SaaS Backup technologies
• Knowledge of advanced networking deployment and configuration (Firewalls, Switches & Access Points)
• Time management skills are crucial to your success in this role
• Superb verbal and written communications skills are a must
• Demonstrated skillset through industry certifications or an agreed upon plan to obtain them
• Experience working in a ticketing system is preferred, with Autotask experience a huge plus
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation
