Lincoln Group Industrial Services has partnered with an exceptional client in the Biopharmaindustry that is looking for an IT Desktop Support Technician to join their team on a direct-hire basis! This position will support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. The IT Desktop Support Technician will also support all internal end-users with timely and effective resolutions.

‎Type of Hire: Direct Hire, First-shift (7 am – 3:30 pm)
‎Software: Microsoft Office Suite

Reports to: VP of Information Technology
‎Location: On-site in Camarillo, CA
‎Compensation: Up to $30/hour, plus benefits, 401K, and PTO.

‎PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Provide computer support, problem analysis, and hardware/software installation and configuration.
• Recommend system improvements to senior team leaders.
• Perform on-site and remote analysis, troubleshooting diagnosis, and resolution for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
• Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and/or work orders to resolve issues associated with end-user workstations network and/or software products.
• Conduct research and make recommendations for hardware products in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Analyze, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.
• Maintain client database with up-to-date solutions and clear records of activities.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment software, and other products to deliver required desktop service levels.
• Collaborate with technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment.
• Configure, deploy and relocate desktops, laptops, printers, and any other related devices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or higher in computer science, highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a help desk/IT support role
• A+/Network +/Microsoft Certifications, preferred.
• Must have a valid CA Driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience providing remote support via phone and remote-control applications.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Advanced level knowledge in the use of all Microsoft Office software
• Excellent knowledge of PC internal components
• Extensive equipment supports experience.
• Must be solutions-oriented and work with a high sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
