Job Description:
Summary: The IT Coordinator will be the liaison between local system users and corporate network support or any others IT support teams. The IT Coordinator will also assist the IT Manager in implementing and executing information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business, computer services, network communications, toll operations (including, but not limited to, electronic toll operations), and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. This position will also be assisting and coordinating any changes to the IT Infrastructure and Corporate Services deployed at the data center and administrative buildings, as well as network communications throughout the project.
Position Responsibilities:

Advise the IT Manager on the general operation of the IT Systems

Supervise day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance of the IT Systems

In the absence of the IT Manager, manage emergency situations related to IT on behalf of NTEMP and LBJIG
-
Assist on planning and coordinating any IT installation and development project

Assist on developing and /or maintaining operating policies and procedures for the Information Technology Department
-
Evaluate overall operations of information technology functions and recommend enhancements

Meet with the QA/QC Team regarding IT-related management of queries and complaints as appropriate and assisting managing the implementation of any corrective actions arising from audits

Assist with external providers of software, hardware and services, ensuring that subcontractor work is carried out in full compliance with the CDA, and/or in accordance with Service Level Agreements;

Serve as a liaison between NTEMP and TxDOT's Representatives, the IE, and any other third parties in relation to IT issues

Reporting on threats associated with the security of information systems, communication lines and equipment
-
Staying abreast of corporate level system enhancements (e.g., Office 365) by monitoring the company intranet.

Recommend training sessions to enhance productivity using the corporate level systems, and help facilitate the training

Assess new computing technologies to determine potential value to the Company

Maintain the company Asset Management system
-
Maintain the company Cellular accounts and with appropriate approval provision new devices.

Education & Experience:

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field, Bachelor’s preferred

0-3+ years’ experience in basic computer and network environments within a business setting

Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products

Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
