Arcosa Construction Products Group is searching for an IT Application Support Analyst based out of our Arlington, TX office. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a manufacturing and mining environment that is regulated by MSHA and OSHA safety standards.
As an IT Application Support Analyst, you will support and administer our construction business applications including Command Alkon’s JWS/Apex System, Mobile Sales, OnBase and any other business unit applications. Provide customer service to the business unit for IT issues (application and hardware).
Arcosa Construction Products Group is a leading producer and supplier of construction materials in select markets across the United States with operating facilities in 14 states. We produce and sell construction aggregates including natural & recycled aggregates, specialty materials, and construction site support.
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Support Command Alkon’s JWS/Apex system, Mobile Sales, McLeod and OnBase (as well as other business applications)
- Assist with the rollout of solutions (be on-site for plant go lives), installing, configuring and upgrading solutions
- Support of JWS/Apex SQL environments
- Support end users, including scale operators and back office – heavy customer service, acting as a liaison between corporate IT, managed services and business IT
- Help create, update and resolve issues within the issue tracking system
- Troubleshoot and assist users with hardware/software problem resolution
- Create/update training material and end user quick reference guides as needed
- Creation of ad hoc reports (Crystal Reports) and support of current reports
- Assist managed services with JWS/Apex Citrix environments
- Applicant should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Command Alkon’s JWS/Apex software
- Experience in construction materials industry preferred
- Able to travel 50%, across North America, work weeknights and some weekends
- SQL experience preferred (not required)
- Citrix application experience preferred (not required)
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, small-team environment
