Job Responsibilities:
Performs scheduled maintenance on all types of irrigation systems: City, Well and Lake Feeds. This will include, but not limited to programming/replacement of controller; valve replacement; repairing of broken lines or irrigation heads; and checking of solar syncs.
Job Duties:
- Performing multiple spring start-ups daily. This will include re-activation of system; full running inspection and perform any repairs and/or replacements requested by the customer.
- Troubleshooting of shallow wells and pumps, which may include the replumbing or replacement of the pump.
- Provide the customer in a professional manner with information that could benefit them, including product information, try to upsell, and/or answer all questions about the system.
- Punch in/out of field software to complete work orders as required. Document all material used in repairs or installations.
- Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of the company vehicle and trailer.
- Conduct a weekly inventory on all materials stored in both trailer and truck.
- Perform and help assist on installations.
- Perform winterization of systems at the end of the season per guidance provided.
Skills and Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day
- The ability to walk and be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
- Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems Experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing is preferable.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
