These are full time, regular roles. A cohort of new hires will join the program on the same day. It consist of a comprehensive three-week company overview program. During the three weeks, the program builds a relevant foundation of knowledge and skills in the financial services industry—and sets you up for success in entry-level positions at Parametric. Participants learn about products, services and how various business units work together. It’s not a rotational program but one where a person is hired onto a specific team in either Investment operations.
Salary & Benefits: The position pays $60k base and is eligible for overtime. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Provide business and operational support for Parametric investment and trading personnel. Primary responsibility will be to maintain high service levels while improving and strengthening operational infrastructure.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


    Provide functional support to portfolio managers, traders, and portfolio administrators for Eaton Vance’s portfolios and order management systems
    Provide reconciliation support for investment teams
    Establishing new client accounts in trade management system
    Work with brokers and custodian banks to resolve trade settlement problems
    Identify and resolve problems related to transactions or investment data in a timely fashion following established guidelines
    Facilitate the accurate and timely delivery of critical business information among all necessary parties
    Initiate the execution of transactions directed to specific brokers as specified in client contracts
    Act as business owner of data, demographic and activity reports, operations requirements and daily account processing
    Collaborate with fellow colleagues to ensure all daily SMA fixed income and equity functions are completed concisely each business day
    Execute trades for sponsors on various trading systems within the SMA program
    Work with external partners on the delivery and implementation of SMA equity changes
    Other duties as assigned.



JOB REQUIREMENTS


    Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
    One to two years of operations and/or related experience
    Knowledge of Bloomberg a plus
    Knowledge of Omgeo Oasys and Omgeo CTM a plus
    Knowledge of Charles River investment system a plus
    Knowledge of Fiserv APL a plus
    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
    Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with others implementing solutions
