Lasko Products, an industry leader in designing and manufacturing portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is seeking an Inventory Accountant to join the Franklin, TN location.

Key focus areas of the Inventory Accountant are to assist with the improvement of internal controls, verify and enter daily production, review and resolve inventory issues, and provide meaningful insight and analysis to all inventory activities.

This position will report to the Controller.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory
• Investigate and process inventory adjustments
• Verify and enter daily production
• Review and process intercompany inventory transfers
• Ensure high level of accuracy in transactional data
• Process daily efficiency reporting package
• Enter scrap tickets daily
• Review, research and resolve inventory issues
• Communicate effectively with production to ensure understanding of production flow and transactions
• Process usage variances from BOM
• Miscellaneous ad-hoc as requested

Desired Skills:

• Experience with inventory investigations
• Experience with QAD is preferred, but not mandatory
• Working knowledge of BOMs
• Organized
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work within set deadlines

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• 1+ years experience
• Experience with Free Trade Zone a plus
