This position will ensure development of the highest quality marketing possible for corporate brand equity. Working in partnership with Regional Marketing Directors, the Corporate Marketing Director and Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development, they will identify marketing channels, messages and content that promotes the company according to the regional strategic marketing plans while also developing a Central Michigan region specific marketing plan (along with marketing execution) and a corporate marketing plan. The individual will formulate digital, web and social media strategies, monitor and measure digital content. They will combine analytic and communication skills with an excellent understanding of marketing techniques. This individual must possess solid teamwork skills to collaborate with marketing representatives from various regions and disciplines, aligning regional to corporate efforts.

- Develop and execute marketing programs to promote the company's brand.
- Partners with regional marketing leaders, to help identify opportunities and assist in the development of content that positions Christman as a leader in construction.
- Identify various marketing channels. Critical thinking and strategic marketing skills are required to identify appropriate channels and opportunities. Whether public/community relations, digital, email, landing pages (web), traditional or new media, etc. This role will help identify avenues for promoting the organization within a target market.
- Lead the development, writing, and creation of custom marketing materials and deliverables for our central Michigan region such as brochures and other collateral materials to generate client focused messaging, visibility, and brand awareness for the company in the local marketplace.
- Develop and execute central Michigan's regional marketing strategic plan, schedule and coordinate goals/objectives/tactics, work with the regional leadership team to identify strategic markets, raise brand visibility, and increase profitable wins.
- Define and deliver market savvy digital strategy on social media and the Christman website with continuous maintenance and analytical review ensuring relevant and engaging content.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that materials reflect current best practices for visual appeal, quality writing, effectiveness, user friendliness, and support of messaging.
- Christman affiliate website advisory and development role is responsible for the initial creation and maintenance based on Christman brand standards and industry best practices.
- Leads in the creation/writing and project management of corporate electronic newsletters or blog content. Verifying appropriate approvals, content, and images.
- Works with Creative Design Manager, Regional Marketing Directors, Business Development Representatives, and Corporate Marketing Director to ensure that brand is consistent across marketing channels; including written content, graphics, online/digital, and images.
- Create unique social media corporate campaigns with the ability to measure campaign success by using Google Analytics, digital engagement, and marketing ROI to monitor and revise active campaigns.
- Marketing/Business Development corporate social and digital messaging and strategy. Work with regional marketing directors to deploy social and digital posts in concert with regional activities to create a balanced message providing support to each region.
- Formulate brand appropriate content that can be shared among company representatives to publish on their personal LinkedIn page. Identify video/image opportunities, provide counsel on trending hashtags and employ best practices of tagging and hyperlinks.
- Works along-side Senior VP Marketing and Business Development and Corporate Marketing Director on strategic research initiatives uncovering market opportunities, industry trends, and best practices in brand recognition.
- Manage Google My Business, Google Analytics, and other digital information and measurement resources to ensure up-to-date corporate data and digital search results.
- Create press and media reports highlighting press placement, social mentions, campaigns and award opportunities, among other measurements. Review for improvements, trends, and corporate strategy modifications.
- As needed, will serve as a proposal writer and collateral material developer, providing assistance to balance peaks in demand for services. This role leads the development of winning proposals by editing, writing, and rewriting technical narratives received from multiple subject matter experts. Make recommendations on compelling qualification/proposal "win" themes and strategies.

Work Environment The job will be conducted in a temperature controlled professional office environment, with moderate noise. The role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, sit, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, use hands, and fingers to handle or feel and to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, and maintain visual acuity. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and or carry lightweight objects under 20 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work Full time position. Occasional extended hours and weekends may apply.
Travel Minimal travel required, depending on the project, travel to other areas may be required. Majority of travel done during work hours; overnight stays may be required.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field with a Public Relation or marketing related focus.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of overall experience in a related job field.
- Must have two (2) or more years in strategic marketing planning experience with deliverables. -or-
- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two (2) or more years of proposal-specific experience, including professional writing, editing and/or technical proposal development, and processes.
- Three (3) or more years' experience within the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe software, such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be proficient in grammar, spelling and punctuation and have accurate proofreading skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building capacity with internal team members at different levels in the organization as well as external partners.
- Confident, consultative style in expressing opinions in a collaborative work environment.
- Experienced in measuring success and ability to monitor and revise active campaigns using Google Analytics, digital engagement, and marketing ROI.
- Ability to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Adobe software.
