What you will be doing:

The Instructor Led Training Technical Support Analyst provides oversight for the support of the Defense Acquisition University's Virtual Instructor Led Training Environment and many of its peripheral systems. This includes service desk support, course-enrollment management/assistance and policy clarification, classroom delivery support and more technical support interacting with other components within DAU to enhance the virtual (and live) classroom delivery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to ensure the instructional quality of courses/projects and assist with planning and evaluation of systems/applications in support of new delivery formats, models, and practices.
  • Assist with the development of training materials for instructional technology solutions and emerging technologies related to online and hybrid learning
  • Provide technical support and assistance to faculty in the use of new and/or emerging technologies, both in terms of training and in real time
  • Provide support for connectivity checks
  • Serve as escalation point for inbound phone call, email, inquiries
  • Accurately classify and record details of inquiries into a web-based ticketing system

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills to concurrently manage multiple assigned tasks/projects and organize, coordinate, and direct team activities and results.
  • Knowledge of popular productivity software (Google Drive, Office365, MS Office Suite or equivalent) on either Windows or Mac computers, as well as navigating the web and using web-based tools to facilitate work, learning, collaboration, productivity, research, etc.

Education and work experience:

  • 2 – 3 years experience supporting instructional development projects for digital learning environments (online/blended) required;
  • Experience in support of instructional/learning design for micro-learning and/or competency-based education preferred.
