The primary role of the Instructional Designer is to assist in the development and management of learning & development programs for a growing solar energy company. This position will create instructor-led and virtual courses, conduct needs assessments and analysis to identify performance gaps and recommend training solutions accordingly.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities include:

• Creates engaging and compelling course content (virtual and classroom based) that aligns with the branding strategy of Infinity Energy INC.
• Design and create job aides, user guides, and other digital/printed materials.
• Writes learner outcomes and performance objectives in specific measurable terms.
• Participates in training design process from training project plan and storyboard to final approval.
• Ensures courses stay up-to-date.
• Facilitates classes as needed (virtual and classroom).
• Facilitates Train-the-Trainer sessions.
• Works with Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts, including senior-level management, to conduct effective training consultations and manage the training design process.
• Effectively measures and reports training impact with recommendations for performance improvements based on data.
• Maintain the Learning Management System to ensure accuracy of user records, assignments, and reporting.

Instructional Designer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Design & Technology, or Education preferred.
• 2 years of Instructional Design and/or e-learning development experience, or comparable work experience.
• Must have solid graphic design, audio recording, and video editing skills to quickly create high quality, interactive training solutions.
• Able to utilize course development and evaluation skills to support strategic training project initiatives.
• Proven experience with the latest instructional design principles and learning technologies.
• Intermediate-Advanced Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, etc.), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia).
• Highly skilled in communication and writing.
• Able to upload, manage, and track courseware within a Learning Management System (Bridge).
• Experienced with project management and tools to manage multiple projects concurrently to define and meet milestones, communicate issues and risks while maintaining control over quality, cost and schedule.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
