The role of the IS Process and Support Supervisor is to act as a conduit between the Systems team, Support Technicians, Clinical and Administrative teams to produce excellent end-user experiences, training resources, and internal workflows while managing team resources, daily staffing, and project needs. The IS Process and Support Manager oversees coordinating, documenting, implementing, and refining support workflows and the internal processes of the Systems team to produce excellent day-to-day or department project results.

This role needs to have a broad IT skillset, a creative mindset, and willingness to expand their skills outside of their comfort zone. They will collaborate with the whole of the Systems team as well as other administrative teams to create, document, implement, and refine reliable workflow processes or internal tools as needed.

This person must be able to multi-task, able to effectively manage competing priorities, and able to adapt workflows and tools in a changing environment. They must assist with changing leadership processes to help the end user comfortably adopt changes.

This position provides leadership, direction and operational authority in the following areas:

Oversees organizational help desk management including ticket triage and resolution, software and hardware diagnosis and remediation, and issue escalation. This position also oversees Systems Department policy and procedure development and management.

Key requirements: Essential Functions and Key Position Accountabilities

  • Performs or delegates tasks to Systems Support Technicians for daily, weekly, and maintenance tasks, as well as department projects.
  • Responsible for establishing accountability for Systems Support Technicians related to below standard productivity and missed objectives.
  • Is the visionary leader and accountable for both support processes and individual network identities.
  • Authors standard operating procedures and End-User Guides to support adequate training, foster increased productivity, and assist with special projects.
  • Serves as a leader and coordinator for Support Technicians on daily/weekly tasks and long-term projects.
  • Is responsible for customer care satisfaction from all supported entities internal or external.
  • Full-time position that may occasionally require work on evenings, or weekends.
Must be well versed in the following topics:
  • Level one help desk ticket management
  • Microsoft and other application issue resolution
  • Hardware issue diagnosis and remediation
Education:
  • Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. Certifications preferred (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft path)
Experience:
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and current technical knowledge of networks, hardware, and operating systems.
  • General familiarity of SharePoint functionality including Power Apps and Power Automate preferred.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate repairs and upgrades based on priority. West coast travel will be required for certain projects.
