We’re looking for an amazing Specialist, Influencer Marketing to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for serving as a senior member of our growing Holland America Line Social Media and Branded Content team, responsible for identifying talent opportunities through ongoing engagement with creators and communities that effectively and authentically represent and/or align with our brand and values.

The Influencer Marketing Specialist will work closely with our social media lead, our partnerships lead, our blogger, and Social Media agency of record, as well as our internal Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, Creative Services and Media / Advertising teams. As the lead for creating engaging 3rd party “social first” content that aligns with Holland America Line’s brand refresh and updated messaging, you’ll manage some of our most critical, strategic collaborations, spearheading cross-functional activations and evaluating potential partnerships for key topics and content themes, including but not limited to cruising, travel, wilderness adventures and more. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in our Specialist, Influencer Marketing role. Is this you?

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and managing social media influencer permissions, scheduling / publishing tools and delivery of relevant, timely content across both their owned social media channels and our 1st party channels, including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Accountability to KPIs to increase followers and engagement on social channels
  • Use social media influencers to support other brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy strategies
  • Owns creative request process to leverage co-op marketing dollars from business development partnerships
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media influencer efforts in relationship to the larger social media marketing framework
  • Close collaboration with Marketing to align on brand advertising needs and brand messaging strategy
  • Develop social media influencer content that can be utilized across our Holland America Line social media ecosystem
  • Manage and monitor online communities to ensure appropriate engagement and responsiveness
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to find new and better ways of driving engagement & measuring social media activity
  • Additional duties as assigned by Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Direct career experience in digital media, social / influencer networks, tools and platforms, retail and/or e-commerce
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of work experience in a related area (eg. Partnership or Business Development, Marketing / Advertising / Digital, Affiliate, Media) driving measurable business results & engagement through social media influencer marketing campaigns
  • Data driven and comfortable reporting on KPIs
  • Established industry relationships and experience working with media partners and/or influencer networks
  • Effective communication and presentation skills – you’re equally comfortable hopping on the phone with a new potential creator / influencer / partner, meeting them in person, or following up with a “let’s make things happen” attitude
  • A builder mentality, ability to build programs from the ground up and self-start with little direction and a strong bias for action
  • BONUS: Experience with travel and/or cruise brands and experience with influencer performance marketing
  • Strong social media marketing acumen with ability to creatively share a brand message

  • Base Salary Range: $67,800.00 to $91,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
