ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Influencer Manager (or Senior Manager,* hereby referred to as Influencer Manager in this Job Description) to help elevate the brand and drive sales by owning and executing a best-in-class influencer strategy. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams like Brand Marketing, PR, Creative, Operations, and Ecommerce, as well as a wide range of external influencers and agencies. You will report to the Director of Global Media + Consumer Engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy. In partnership with Global Media + Consumer Engagement Director, define and deliver an industry-leading influencer program targeted at customers and prospects. Own the day-to-day Influencer function execution and optimization.
  • Campaigns. Concept, coordinate and execute all in-house and external influencer campaigns through influencer marketing platform(s), external agencies, retailers, and direct relationships with influencers/content creators.
  • List curation & contract management. Identify, cultivate, and maintain meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of influencers, creators, managers, and agents. Act as the main point of contact for all influencer correspondence with the brand.
  • Budget. Manage financial responsibilities for all influencer campaigns, including bottoms-up budget development and negotiation of competitive rates. Leverage real-time campaign KPIs to inform decisions and drive strategic, efficient spend for maximum ROI.
  • Mailers. In collaboration with Creative and Marketing teams, concept, plan, and execute mailers for all new launches, initiatives and evergreen campaigns. Develop creative assets + VIP packaging, manage vendor relationships, execute purchase orders, and coordinate with Ops & Warehouse teams for fulfillment.
  • Events. Partner with PR Team in planning thoughtful, engaging, and valuable influencer events, ranging from intimate gatherings to full-scale events.
  • Paid media. Work in close partnership with Social Media, Ecommerce, and Brand Marketing teams to define how influencer content is incorporated into the paid and organic digital marketing strategy.
  • Reporting & data analysis. Analyze performance of influencer campaigns using native and third-party tools to create and present reports to leadership.
  • Competitive research. Monitor and report on competitor influencer activations, implementing best practices into our own influencer strategy.
  • Leadership. Coach junior team members on Influencer, PR and Marketing teams; build capability and invest in their career development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-7+ years of professional experience; 3+ year of professional Influencer Marketing experience, including working on both paid and organic influencer activity
  • Experience in + passion for the Beauty industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Influencer reporting and campaign tools (i.e. Tribe Dynamics, Skeepers, GRIN, TikTok Creator Marketplace) is a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential nature
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing
  • Thrive in a start-up environment with an all-hands-on-deck attitude
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to work well with a network of peers, partners, and industry contacts
  • Able to reliably commute to the NYC office minimum 2 days per week + ad hoc as needed for influencer events and other office activities
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
