Modine Manufacturing Company is hiring for an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing and safety operations in its growing Lawrenceburg, Tennessee plant location!
What Will You Do?
You will manage the development of engineered labor standards and implementations of the labor management system in our facility in Lawrenceburg TN. You will identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, implement best practices and have a focus on safety and environmental improvement activities. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor. This position is located at our plant in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and is on-site 5 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel for this position is minimal and measured at less than 5%.

What Will You Do?

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify bottlenecks, issues and working towards process improvements, cycle time improvements using Lean principles.
- Present weekly project status to important partners.
- Process improvements, to reduce cycle time and increase output.
- Provide support in project coordination activities.
- Develop labor standards
- Provide support and training to employees.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, or a related technical field, is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a high volume manufacturing engineering environment is required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
- Prior exposure to environmental health and safety processes is required.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Experience with cycle timing analysis tools would be beneficial.
