ABOUT THE JOB:

As a caregiver for elderly clients, your role is critical in ensuring their well-being and happiness. You aim to maintain their dignity and improve their quality of life despite a decrease in their independence. During their times of need, you offer unwavering support and comfort while remaining compassionate and friendly during stressful moments. The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of a caregiver:

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Provide transportation to appointments and run errands
• Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary requirements
• Conduct light cleaning duties like vacuuming, dusting, and laundry

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of caregiving or companion experience
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry Number
• Fully immunized against COVID-19 (unless exempt)
• TB test or chest x-ray with no abnormalities in the past 24 months
• Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
• High school diploma preferred
