As a registered caregiver, you will build relationships and improve the quality of life of seniors by providing support and quality care in their homes. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by assisting them perform their activities of daily living which includes, personal care, meal prep, med reminders, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring happiness and joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, safe, and involved.

Must be motivated to help others, be responsible, dependable and work independently. Successful caregivers take charge over their schedule and always put the needs and well-being of their client first. They develop positive and lasting relationships through dedication to serving clients physical and emotional needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Where: Lancaster, Willow Street, Millersville, Leola, Lititz, Ephrata, Denver, Manheim, Mount Joy, Quarryville, and surrounding areas.

Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, Overnight shifts, Weekends, Short Shifts, 4-12 Hour Shifts, Short-Term and Long-Term Live-In Available

Job Requirements

• Have a verifiable work history of dependability and providing excellent care
• Minimum 2 years experience providing direct care to individuals
• Have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Complete a criminal background check, driver’s check, and drug test.
• 2-step PPD test will need to be completed prior to referral
• Pass a direct care worker competency evaluation or have a home health aide or nursing assistant certification
• Most important, have a sincere commitment to make a difference in the lives of seniors in the community.
