Job Description Summary

The Implementation Management Office (IMO) and Encompass Senior Director empowers our centralized teams to create a welcoming experience for our new GEHC service customer as they transition providers within the US and Canada. This responsibility is inclusive of leading GE HealthCare’s Encompass real-time location system strategic execution aligned to meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. S/he will have a strong partnership with the commercial and regional USCAN service functions to create implementation project plans/goals aligned to providing customer transparency and expectations during the transition. The Senior Director, IMO and Encompass will serve our people, patients, and customers by promoting an environment of standard work, delivering exceptional customer experience, empowering cross-functional success, and inspiring a culture of servant leadership.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Energize and challenge the IMO to repeat/expand a best-in-class welcoming experience for new GE HealthCare USCAN service customer inclusive of connecting additional value add solutions (i.e. Encompass, D&D, Skeye, myGEHC, HealthChecks, etc.).
  • Drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve standard work of service implementations. Continue to hi-lite and advocate across USCAN Service, Commercial Team, Solution Delivery Leaders, HR, and clients what it is that sets GEHC’s implementation processes apart/differentiates us from our competition.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering a level of service excellence that exceeds our customer’s expectations re: service implementation to GEHC program while providing accountability, transparency, and rigor of our “Say/Do” behavior (i.e. define, track, prioritize near and long term actions).
  • Support USCAN commercialization activities and pricing strategy relevant to the value-add solutions fostered by the IMO team.
  • Collaborate across USCAN service to lead in shaping and providing insights on (but not limited to) Service of Tomorrow engagements, service delivery, technical training, and process technology development.
  • Shape/Develop a multi-year strategy in partnership with global and commercial for Encompass that evolves to serve our customers unique requirements.
  • Accountable to provide operational mechanisms and KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis, ensuring visibility/transparency on project status to meet targets.
  • Advocate for LEAN principles in the USCAN organization, driving it as a clear methodology for identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Strong servant leadership that empowers team members and colleague success via mentoring, coaching, and career development.
  • Ensure a safety first and quality mindset within the team, maintaining or implementing applicable processes as part of the QMS/EHS policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong servant leadership, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience working within a hospital environment or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to create a working environment that fosters the principles of belonging, inclusion, and diversity, enabling the team to leverage each other’s skills for advancing together toward a shared purpose.
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical equipment, and their use and movement within clinical care settings
  • Direct experience working effectively with hospital personnel at all levels within a hospital or healthcare organization
  • Experience leading, building, and energizing teams of various sizes
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamics environment, while maintaining a forward thinking and customer-first attitude
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit to challenge the status quo, be action-oriented and decisive, and drive continuous process improvement through problem solving and lean mindset
  • Strong executive presence, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain unrestricted Hospital Vendor Credentialing

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience working in hospital environment as biomedical technician or field engineer
  • Familiarity with hospital departments and the types of care provided in each
  • Understanding of common hospital policies and processes
