CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for Commercial & Residential HVAC Systems
  • The Journeyman Installer will be responsible for the installation and HVAC units which may include electronic and mechanical components.
  • Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible ducting and sheet metal construction. Duct layout and sizing is essential.
  • Ability to direct, supervise, and train apprentices on job sites. (1-2 Team Members).
  • Installation of low voltage connections to HVAC components and installation of HVAC automation components for businesses or smart homes.
  • Install new heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, including startups.
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
  • Installations of refrigeration lines to include vacuum, charge, and startup.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • Individuals must have technical knowledge of HVAC systems and installation, the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings as well as HVAC wiring diagrams, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, access to their own tools, strong work ethic, ability to handle the physically challenging workload, availability to work evenings and weekends, possess a clean and professional appearance and excellent customer service skills. MUST be able to work in a team as well as on their own. Additionally, a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have or least two (2) years of experience in HVAC
  • Must have passed or willing to obtain EPA Certification (Universal), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 608 certification exam /cert.
  • NATE certification or willing to obtain within 12 months. Continued education and company support.
