The HR Coordinator role at our company is a positive liaison between employees and management.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Admin comfortable with core HR administration functions including onboarding, background checks, drug testing, DMV checks, and benefits administration. A successful candidate would offer, proficiency with MS Word and Excel, ability to use and navigate numerous web-based portals, and work in a fast-paced, business-casual environment. Ability to multi-task is essential. A strong technology background is an important asset for this job.

The HR Admin reports directly to the HR Manager and acts as a point of contact for the HR Department in the day-to-day of this multi-site organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers and Human Resource Manager to manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job ad placement, applicant screening, pre-employment screening/testing, new hire paperwork, and onboarding including proper completion of the Form I-9
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Assist with new hire benefit enrollment, benefit management and corrections, working with various benefit vendors. Completes monthly audits and reconciliations to provide invoice payments to the fiscal department.
  • Updates human resources information system on a weekly/daily basis to ensure that all employees information is accurate and aligns with workforce departments.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Process changes in status including salary adjustments and garnishments, reimbursement requests, and assist associates with address, dependent, and direct deposit change notifications.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to ensure application and compliance with relevant company, EEOC, Department of Labor, and other Federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in the administration of various human resource programs for designated sites.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Develops & reports on KPIs to measure effectiveness of HR related metrics.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare letters, memos, reports, and other documents or presentations in a clear, concise, professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
