Overview and Responsibilities:
Come and join our Workforce Enablement team as we continue to expand our HR Operations team, including our world class “Tier 1” HR Service Center! Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations, the HR Operations Specialist will:
Be part of a growing employee facing HR Service Center providing support with complex HR inquiries
Work closely with a client group to directly support different HR Ops projects and initiatives
Drive an elevated employee experience with foundational HR services across the Company. In addition, this role will assist in the development and consolidation of HR knowledge, as well as execution of “Tier 1” HR services, across legacy companies (Viacom, CBS, Showtime, and Paramount) and global regions (U.S., UK, EMEA, APAC, LATAM) Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance of existing HR knowledge (including policies, FAQs, operating procedures, and employee facing tools) and services across all Paramount Global divisions
Ensure data accuracy and reliability by participating in data audits, reconciling data, and following established process to make necessary updates
Analyze data across systems and topics to understand and facilitate opportunities for ongoing improvement of process, knowledge, and services
Work with HR client group to identify and fill process and knowledge gaps
Communicate goals and deadlines to team members to ensure workload is completed successfully
Perform quality control of processes of the HR Service Center to maintain the standards expected
Contribute to the enhancement of our HR case management and Knowledge Article system in ServiceNow, as well as its integration with our larger Global Employee Portal
Answer complex inquiries and provide services in a continuous manner; work closely with HR COEs (Total Rewards, People Development, HR Operations, TA, Payroll) to continuously grow and revise HR knowledge base
Lead ongoing special projects
Collaborate with international HR teams to develop a roadmap for growing the HR Service Center globally
Coordinate the launch of the HR Service Center for international employees, including employee communications and partner change management Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in HR; preferably with some experience in both HR Operations and a client/employee facing role Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly intermediate Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of topics across HR functional areas, including Benefits, TA, L&D/Organizational Development, HR Systems/Operations, HR Compliance, and Payroll
Problem-solving skills; think critically about problems and know how to demonstrate your resources to package solutions
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets
Demonstrated passion for building fast-paced employee services that are handled with expertise, attention, and care
Comfort working with HR technology (such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or other HR system); experience with ServiceNow is a plus
Strong client facing / interpersonal skills and passion for delivering positive experiences
Advising skills; experience influencing decision makers with proven recommendations
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment with quick deadlines and shifting priorities
Strong communication and relationship building skills; ability to establish close working relationships with teams and partners across corporate functions
Ability to analyze processes within a cross-functional organization, proficient at prioritizing new and improved processes
Ability to work independently, as well as within a collaborative team setting
Must be comfortable collaborating with senior HR and business leaders!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $63,000.00 - 70,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
